Warn Offers AC Hoist in WARN Works Lineup
WARN Works is a new line of power tools, from Warn Industries, designed to meet
the needs of consumers as well as trades people in a variety of industries and markets
Clackamas, OR (August 7, 2003) Warn Industries has introduced
an AC-powered hoist as part of its new WARN Works family of power tools. The H1000AC
hoist rounds out the current line of AC products (three AC winches); WARN Works
also includes a line of DC powered winches.
The HC1000AC, with is 1,000 lb. capacity, will meet a variety of lifting needs
on the job site, or around the jobsite, shop, barn or home. Use it to load equipment on
or off
trucks, to lift engines in machine shop, or to hoist building materials at a jobsite.
At the heart of the H1000AC is a powerful 0.6 hp double insulated DC rectified, permanent
magnet motor powered by 120 volt 50/60 Hz 1-phase power source; mated to a rugged all
metal,
three-stage planetary gear train with mechanical and dynamic braking system. Safely
features include an integrated load limiter to prevent overload of the unit,
and an integrated travel limiter to prevent deadheading a load against the hoist.
A pro-style pendant control unit includes raise, lower and Emergency-stop button functions
and
connects to the motor with a convenient 12' lead. The H1000AC comes with 25' of 7/35"
wire rope and an 8' electrical cord with standard three-pronged plug.
The H1000AC has been design to be portable as well as easily to install on a variety of
structures.
It has provisions for mounting the unit to a fixed structure or location, can be
hung from a structure using load slings, or mounted to trolleys for jib boom and gantry
applications.
To ensure that WARN Works products can be used in Europe and Asia-Pacific, models
are available that operate on 230 volt 50HZ current.
