Warn Industries releases new ATV/Side x Side plow systems and accessories for 2010
Clackamas, OR (02/12/10) - Warn Industries, the leader in powersports vehicle products and
accessories, is excited to announce an all-new plow system for ATVs and Side x Sides. This system
has been designed and engineered from the ground up to be the best powersports plow system on
the market. Introducing the WARN ProVantage high-performance plow system and accessories.
The ProVantage system includes all-new components that have been thoroughly tested for durability,
quality, and optimum performance. The system consists of these products:
Plow Blades
These top-quality, heavy-duty blades are meant to last season after season, and are available in two
varieties: tapered and straight. WARN tapered blades are available in 54" and 60" sizes for ATVs, and
are made from thick 11-gauge steel. They feature aggressive tapering to move snow up and away
from the surface being cleared. WARN straight blades are available in 50", 54", and 60" sizes for
ATVs, and a 72" size for Side x Sides. They are made from durable 12-gauge steel (the 50" blade is
14-gauge), and have a center cross member for extra strength. The 60" blade also has a top lip with
pre-drilled holes for added accessories.
All WARN ProVantage blades have boxed construction and reinforcing ribs for outstanding strength.
They also showcase a special low-friction powder-coated finish that helps keep material from sticking
to the blade. Additionally, WARN ProVantage blades are tall to move more material, have long-lasting
wear bars with aggressive attack angles, and have extra-large skids for increased performance and
durability.
Plow Bases
The WARN Plow Base assemblies attach to the plow blade mount on the vehicle. They feature an
extra-wide design for stability and durability; a trip spring system to guard against damage when
striking immovable objects; an interlocked rotating base plate for increased strength, outstanding
durability, and excellent impact resistance; and are boxed and gusseted for maximum robustness.
There are a multiple versions of the plow bases including: A front-mount version for most new ATVs
and Side x Sides; a version for ATVs/Side x Sides using tracks instead of tires; and a center mount
version for older vehicles. See a WARN application guide or visit www.warn.com for more details.
Plow Mounting Kits
The ProVantage plow mounts were engineered for rapid connection, thanks to a self-locating pin
design. The mount is located at the front of the vehicle, so there's no crawling under the ATV or
Side x Sides to attach the plow-connecting is fast and easy. Plus, there's no reason to remove the
mount when not using the plow, as there is no reduction in ground clearance-this means no
interference when trail riding.
New Accessories for 2010
ProVantage Bucket
This conversion kit turns the ProVantage plow blade into a useful bucket loader with a 200 lb.
capacity, the ability to move up to five cubic feet of material, and a 60 degree dump angle. The
Bucket is easy to use, too: The dump release is operable from the driver's seat and, when the
operator lowers the bucket, it automatically resets to the "ready" position. Made from durable 14-
gauge steel with added reinforcement, the kit will last season after season. This is a must-have tool
for anyone looking to save time while getting the job done. Available June 2010.
Plow Roller Fairlead for WARN RT40 and XT40 Winches
Also new for 2010 is the plow roller fairlead for use with WARN RT40 and XT40 winches. This useful
fairlead is for anyone who uses a winch to lift a plow blade. It has a larger bottom roller, which
reduces wear on the winch rope.
